Massaoke, the night-time singalong sensation, has announced an all-new creation for London in the form of La La Land Club, hitting the O2 Academy Islington on Friday 7 April from 10:45pm until LATE for a monthly residency. Launch night will be a guaranteed good time with tickets available from www.massaoke.com – from just £5.
Forget the movie, La La Land is the evolution of the club night where the crowd become the star of the interactive show; part club, part live-gig and all spectacle. A land where DJs perform with live musicians and the crowd roar a Massaoke singalong band. A land of rock-star glamour, glitter cannons, video projections, giant balloons, lip-sync battles and the greatest rock and pop anthems of the 80s, 90s, and 00s where our hard-earned Friday nights are made unforgettable.
The Massaoke band return to the capital to launch La La Land Club after a 10 week Australian tour and sell-out run of the Edinburgh Fringe 2016. The late night event has been a runaway success, playing to over 75,000 people in the last year alone. Dozens of celebrity guest stars including Al Murray, The Pub Landlord, Fatman Scoop, Ed Byrne, Jon Snow, Aisling Bea and Erasure’s Andy Bell have also caught the Massaoke bug with Bonnie Tyler herself declaring it “Fab!”.
Friday 7 April will be a euphoric celebration of the best songs ever written, by the most Friday night-worthy singers including Bon Jovi, Adele, Queen, David Bowie, Taylor Swift, Spice Girls, Europe, Take That, Taylor Swift, Journey, Whitney Houston, Arctic Monkeys, Wheatus, Amy Winehouse, Journey, Bonnie Tyler, Madonna and many, many more.
La La Land Club will then be a new monthly fixture on the O2 Acadmey Islington’s calendar, promising themed evenings of en masse Friday fun with fancy dress, performers and more of the unexpected – La La Landis a night out fit for the end of days…
