Canary Wharf, London: UNDER ARMOUR POWERS ANDY MURRAY TO THE NEXT LEVEL FOR WIMBLEDON.

Under Armour, the world’s leading performance brand, took British tennis champion Andy Murray to new heights this week as he prepares for his battles on centre court at Wimbledon.  Murray, who partnered with Under Armour in December 2014, debuted his custom Wimbledon kit and new UA ClutchFit Pursuit footwear in an exclusive photoshoot on the top of one of London’s tallest buildings, One Canada Square, overlooking the iconic London skyline.

Murray said,

I have had some great wins this year. I’ve trained hard and as a result, I’m playing some of my best tennis. I’ve worked closely with Under Armour on my kit and new footwear so I’m heading into Wimbledon feeling prepared and with a lot of confidence.”

During Wimbledon, Andy is playing in the AM AirVent Woven short featuring a fully perforated body providing 360 degree ventilation, along with a custom AM Raid V-neck Tee, developed specifically to combat the hot weather with strategic ventilation and moisture transport system to keep Andy cool light and dry.

On his feet the British champ will be sporting the UA ClutchFit Pursuit tennis shoe, which was developed hand-in-hand with Andy and built to support his every move on court. The fully customised tennis shoe is built with Under Armour DNA to maximise Andy’s style of play while providing him with maximum support, comfort and stability Utilising UA ClutchFit technology, the shoe has a flexible feel with locked-in support to accommodate Andy’s movement.

So we know he’s got the right kit and is on cracking good form, we can’t wait to get behind Muzza and hopefully see him have a great time at the home of tennis. Wimbledon kicks off on June 29th!
